she misses you
"You turned to me and said you had to go
Please don't go
Please don't go
Across the country side
I chased an angel fleeting
Until it dropped and sighed
Its angel wings still beating
It was you
It was you
Oh I stood there and cried
And watched love fade away
I saw an angel die
My heart died too that day"

ramble
I am determined to feel content with the season change. I don't know what I will do without my bare shoulders and naked knees being exposed to the air. Of course I have already gotten the sickness that comes with the cold weather. Hopefully it will all pass quickly and I won't be bogged down with swollen tonsils again this year.
I am currently attempting a new music project. I have been pulling inspiration from people who are more talented than myself. Friends, authors, musicians, photographers, family members...etc. I like to think that I am soaking in all of these experiences and things so that later I can start putting them into my music or singing. The direction my life has gone since high school puts me in a weird state of mind. I talk to others my age and some are equally as stagnant or either way far ahead of the game. I have to remind myself that life isn't a contest it's something that you have to live and enjoy because you never know when your bucket is going to be kicked. Relationships and adventures make you stronger no matter how large or small. This all seems very obvious. This all seems very petty. But, this all seems very big-time to me.

I shot a wedding this past weekend in Thurmont, MD with my brother.
The ceremony was in a beautiful quaint church and the reception was in a marvelously decorated barn a couple of miles up the road. I can't even explain to you how gorgeous it all really was. I hope that we did it justice, so two great people (and all of their loved ones) can remember the special day forever.

Lauren and I have known each other since we were little kids.
I am reposting this picture because I think it's stinkin' cute. Lauren (blue/purple head) has recently moved to Baltimore (like everyone else I know) and I miss her dearly. That is her girlfriend Amy (brown head).
Adorbs!
I was going to post more things today, but it's one of those days when I can't even put my feelings into words. I am so lucky to be surrounded by lots of wonderful people. I haven't been too grateful recently. But I have no reason to complain. Things are fine.

I just got home last night from a trip to Milwaukee, WI.
Adam Taylor and the band played at Summerfest again this year!
What a crazy, ridiculous, interesting, and enjoyable time. I didn't take photos of the mayhem, but lets just say I am glad my camera survived it all.

My parents, brothers, and sister-in-law went camping this passed weekend. Although it was rainy they roughed it out. While they were trying to stay dry I was driving to Harrisburg and back to perform with Adam Taylor. Today my brother and I went to visit with them for the last couple of hours they had the sites. Bryan made peach cobbler in a crock-pot and since it was my father's birthday we sang to him. Thankfully the rain held off for the rest of the time :)
